I hope this is a simple problem: my battery icon is missing. I am JB on Ip4 4.2.1. I have clean status installed but the battery hide option is turned off. I tried to remove clean status but my battery icon has yet to reappear. To make things even weirder, when I open cydia, my battery icon magically reappears but when I close cydia, it goes away. Does anyone know where the hell my battery icon went?? Thanks guys.

What other cydia apps do you have installed? Are you using a theme in Winterboard? Have you tried disabling any themes?

I have other themes in winterboard but I disabled all themes and it still is not working. Also why does it magically appear when I open cydia?? I may just update to 4.3 and see what happens.

I figured it out. It is the "no labels iOS 4" tweak from bigboss. When activated through winterboard, it also hides the battery. That being said, what are you guys using to hide ur icon labels??

No need to go to 4.3. The culprit is CleanStatus (happened to me once).

Open clean status, select the battery as if you were going to get rid of it, respring. Then do the opposite, then respring. Should work!

FYI, Cydia disables certain elements when it is running, hence the reason your battery was showing up when you had Cydia up.

For whatever reason, the icon label tweak is blocking my battery icon from showing. I just need to find a replacement tweak for the icon labels. Thanks for your help guys.

no it actually says in the descriptions that it hides the battery if you dont want it do, use ifile and delete the UIImages folder from within the No Label Folder, that should still hide the labels but not the battery
