When my 3G iPhone gets low on batteries, the battery icon turns red and starts beeping off and on. I don't mind the indicator but when I plug the power in, the beeping does not stop. Keeps me from using the phone for awhile. Can I turn this off? I'd like to plug the power in and keep using the phone.

Any thoughts??

That is unusual. Usually the battery just turns red, and then eventually the phone will shut down when its battery gets too low to operate.

Is your phone jailbroken?
