how old is your iPhone? if it is an early one, it may qualify for a free replacement. Check the Apple web site. I had the battery changed in my 5 and it is much improved.

My iPhone is about 2 years old. But i am not in the recall program. I think that you mean that?

I'm sorry I'm not contributing to helping you with your issue, I just am really curious. All the things I have seen like this you have to jailbreak for which is not an option for me.

i used ibackupbot the other day for the very first time . its a free program for windows and mac that gives you battery health, without jailbreaking

i don't know what app the OP used

as far as batteries go, i think apple recommends you consider replacing the battery once capacity is less then 80%, but ultimately its up to you if you feel that its worth the $79 us dollars it costs to get a new battery.

if its still under warranty / applecare and your battery has less then 80% then you can get a new battery from apple for free.

i dont trust that app, charge it to 100 % and get a second opinion from the genius bar

Tha app is "Battery Doc". BTW it's a paid app.

You can send it into an AASP and they'll check it for you.

if you submit a ticket / remote iOS diagnostic send and then bug apple in chat
they will also tell you if your battery is bad. but driving to the genius bar is probably faster!
