Battery is dead

Waited all this time...shipment came this morning. I opened it up plugged into iTunes and got the empty battery icon. I've had it plugged into iTunes for like 15 minutes and still nothing.

Why me?

Any advice?

All is well...hard reset did the trick!

SOunds like you was accidently left on from the factory and most are between 50% and 100% charged when they arrive.

Just charge and enjoy.
