I am having a battery issue. When my battery gets to about 95% left in the charge when I am running off of it my computer shuts down instantly. I had this problem in the past with another battery when it got to 50% and my computer said it was bad. My computer says this one is fine. It is relatively new 100% health and only 24 charge cycles. Could I have a short in my computer???

If it's always at the same percentage, it's going to be the battery--not a cable. Bring it in. At least at an Apple Authorized Service Center, we have a tool we can run that takes all of two minutes to tell you if the battery is good or bad. I would imagine an Apple Store has the same or better.

Thanks... I will give that a try
