battery issues? 2011 MBA

I've noticed since installing the GM that the battery seems not to last as long on my 2011 MBA, I'm getting the feeling the indicator is way out or it is using more juice.
For example at yesterday I stopped using the air at 11 AM, indicator showed 70%, I did what I normally do, closed lid, put it in its rack and got on with other stuff. I've just opened it up and have an indicated 52% battery remaining……… normally it loses about 2% in 24 hours of standby, not 18%!!
I have changed no settings from the last seed and have checked that power nap is still set to OFF.

I just wondered if anyone had had issues with the GM?

It's possible your Mac didn't say in sleep mode the whole time. For sleep issues, you may find some useful ideas here:

• Mac OS X: Why your Mac might not sleep or stay in sleep mode
• Determine why your Mac wakes up from sleep
• One sleep problem caused by printers - solved ... and another
• If your Mac isn't sleeping properly and you have gfxCardStatus installed, try uninstalling it.
