Battery issues after restore and iCloud

i have an iPad Air 2 that needed to be wiped so I did that. Somehow my iTunes backup got deleted but thankfully I had my iCloud backup to use. I restored it from the iCloud backup and half way through I got an error message that said not everything could be restored. I tried again and got the same message but the thing kept restoring and seemed to finish just fine. Ever since this my battery level has gone down and idk why. I used to get about 11 hours on the settings I'm on now but I'm only getting about 8 at most. Very annoying and idk what to do. Then I have an issue with iCloud. I turned backup off as soon as the iPad was done restoring. Three days later my storage in iCloud has gone from 2.0GB to 3.8GB available! My app data is gone when I go to manage storage????? I'm a real idiot with this stuff so can someone give me advice . Apple support basically told me nothing in the chat last night. Sorry I'm a noob.
