Hi
So i have an old macbook pro that i was trying to breathe some new life into buy upgrading to an ssd,
but the battery is jammed. It is not swollen and when i push the latches to remove the batter it move up a little on one side but thats it. I have not found anything on the internet about this and hope somebody here can help me. Thanks!

It probably has swelled, actually, just not in the direction you think it has.

The way it is mounted, you can think of the battery as being "hinged" on the opposite side of the latches. Have you tried rotating it up and out?
