Battery life 8GB VS 16GB 2017 13" MBP?

I'm interested in getting the 16GB 13 TB model. However, I am worried about battery life. I read that the 2016 model had considerably lower battery life on the 16GB model as opposed to the 8GB model. Is it still the case? If so, would upgrading to the 15" higher end model (2.9 and 4GB GPU) deliver longer battery life?
