Can someone advise me how to fix the battery on this thing, this drains out in one day literally.

Any app I can use or what can i do to restrict access to certain programs?

I know you tube and podcast is a big one but safari runs in the back often.

Please help, I"m kinda tired of the iPhone at this point, I've had this for a 18 months and it's having issues with battery and bugs.

It is all part of Apple their plan to make your phone obsolete.

My iPhone 11 Pro Max used to last 2 days easily when it was new. Now at 91%, I can also drain it within a day. Something fishy is going on.

Yeah my battery goes fast, I went to Melbourne from Broward Country yesterday and I just listened to podcast and the phone needed to be charged multiple times.

The battery goes faster than Android ON USE, on standy Apple last longer than android.

I'm thinking anything past 5watts destroys the IOS battery, i think android batteries may be a little better in handling higher wattage.

Any fast charger or qc is gonna kill the battery much quicker than the little 5 watt chargers apple used to ship.

I envy you folks. I have never been in the situation where I have an iPhone that I use for multiple hours every day, including Safari use, streaming etc that would last me two days. Anything that gets me through the entire work day is a win for me.
But of course we also stream lossless music, high def video and have plenty computational stuff going on in our photography and 5G networks, so even many everyday use cases consume more energy these days.

Of course stronger chargers may create more heat and heavier load on the batteries hence leading to quicker wear - however that’s not unique to iPhones and there is no general “Android battery “ - it’s a bunch of different manufacturers stuffing different batteries from different battery makers into their devices.

I'll just add that my battery health was 87% and I was getting 6 hours, 7hrs at best (if I was connected to wifi). Some days ago I got my phone replaced and now it lasts 8 hours or so if im using lte and wifi and around 10 hours if I'm only using wifi.

Could you upload a photo of your battery chart and a list of the apps?

I use redpocket prepaid att by the way

Post a 24 hr battery usage chart with “SHOW ACTIVITY” selected to see the app times, not percentage. Do you have an Apple Watch paired with your iPhone 11?

I'm curious how my 10 month old iPhone 11 Pro Max that I got in February 2021 seems unaffected by this.

I mean, if this is all true then my battery life should be just as crap now as those who bought their 11PMs on launch day. 2019.

But… ?‍♂️ it's not.

I suppose perhaps if I used it like a media device or a computer instead of a phone that does text messages and email it might be the same as your battery life I guess, maybe.

I changed the battery on mine and it improved a lot. It was better in 15.1 than on 15.2 though.

If you are running iOS 15 on your 11 Pro Max, there are reports of the Apple Watch causing battery drain. Maybe try unpairing the Apple Watch and see if the battery life improves as a test.

Not all same iphone models with same battery health are equal. Some "91% health" batteries last longer than others "91%".
It is only number but maybe "chemical composition inside" is different... I don't know. Maybe everyone using habits are different (charging overnight, high / low temperatures, overcharging, drain to 0 etc...)
Just replace battery.
