anybody else getting a shocking battery life !!

65% after 3 hours!!!

Try restarting both of your devices and if still happening then try re-pairing. Also give it a couple of cycles.

Some people have throughout the beta cycles (including the GM release) and the solution appears to be an un-pair and re-pair of the watch. I've been lucky though and have found the battery life to be stellar (better than 1.0.1) - 92% after 3 1/2 hours here

Rebooted both

Gonna see what's it like rest to the day then will un-pair re-pair

I don't always pair my watch with my phone.

I have got a very impressive battery life on the first day with my watch.

80% left after using for 10hours. Much better than wos1

Just a question, if you decide yo repair, is it best to the setup the watch as new or restore it from a back up? Same battery problems here BTW, 50% after 7 hours on my wrist with about 1 hour of usage

I had the same problem as you yesterday after updating and I recommend the restore from backup if you have data you want to keep.

Connect your phone to your computer and do a local backup in iTunes with encryption to get the health data. During the re-pair, the watch will ask if you want to restore from backup and it will show your backup from today. It doesn't take long.

Thanks for the advice! Will this also work if you use iCloud as a back up source for your iPhone (and therefore watch)?
I will try it once I get home tonight.

no battery problems here yet.. did a workout and only went down 8%

thats about the same as it was with 1.0.1

its been a few hours actually since the workout and i have not gone down 1%
