WOW! I got my Macbook Pro (circa mid-to-late 2009) in December last year. Right now, I am sitting here with my battery fully charged, unplugged from the wall, and I am still showing 7:26 remaining. I'm dimmed to about half brightness, with my keyboard lighting down by half as well.

I love this.

That's awesome, don't anyone ^^^ ruin your happiness regardless what anyone else thinks. :)

So you suggest happily believing false information, rather than being informed? (News flash: Closing your eyes does NOT make you invisible!)

Thanks for the link, GG. However, I've had that page bookmarked for months and am adept at battery calibration. This will certainly help someone who maybe has never done that, though.

My reading isn't inaccurate. I seem to have gotten very close to the time showing before the battery drained.

As I said before, pretty cool.

Yeah, and after yet another drain and recharge, it was only about 28 minutes off the mark. Of course, I changed my display settings to brighter for a while, and used more applications than were open at the time I checked it first.
