So I've download iStat

And this is what it is telling me...

My battery health is 86% and the amount of cycles is 171. is this normal?

Because what I've seen as I've looked around people have higher cycles and still have more battery health then I do.

Thanks!
Sasha

Doesn't sound "normal" but you have to keep in mind that the % can go up or down depending on how you use your computer.

Calibrate the battery, that can make the health percentage go up. When i calibrated my new MBP it went from 97 to 102%. I now have an extra 236mAh. :)
Calibration doesn't affect battery health. It only makes the readings more accurate. Read the FAQ in post #3 of this thread.
