I have a 3rd gen itouch. before upgrading to 4.1 (I passed on 4.0), I did not have to recharge for several days. Not I have to twice a day. I go to bed with a full charge, and in the morning I get the 20% warning. I use the wifi sometime during the night, so I don't want to turn on air plane mode. Any ideas? Russell

One method would be to fully charge the ipod touch and then use it till the battery reaches the 20% mark (ie the warning) then go charge it again. Do this once or twice more. That should calibrate the battery.
