Battery life horrible?

So I got the 15" Retina MacBook Pro, fully loaded. But the battery just sucks. I got 3 hours running on the Iris Pro with 1/2 brightness and no sound. All I was doing was just turbotax during the time. Started off at 100% and when I was done it was only at 23%

Is this normal for the Haswell models?

Have you tried the usuals? (SMC reset)

I have. I've done a SMC reset, restored mavericks and even swapped out another one at the apple store.

All had around the same battery life (3-4 hours) with light usage

Is this issue with Turbo Tax or when you're just browsing the web?

I can get 7-8 hours on a charge (same specs) which is why I'm bewildered to your situation.

The difference I can think of is I did a system migration from an older Mac.

Not specific to TurboTax, but it is the most recent incident I noticed.

The other times are just doing web surfing like macrumors or word processing. I'm already using gfxcardstatus to force it to the Iris Pro only.
