Battery Life of a Penryn MacBook Pro

My brother has a 2.4ghz MacBook Pro, the Penryn models, the ones before the unibody update.

He is thinking about switching his battery for a new one because he doesn't get quite the amount of battery life he wants, but he might just get a new computer.

What is the projected battery life of a MacBook Pro of this caliber with screen brightness at 50%, bluetooth off, wireless on, and just web browsing?

I have this exact model. Web browsing depends if you get a lot of flash going. For steady constant browsing, i can get 3 to 3.5 hours on mine. But thats with minimal to no vid watching. I can get 4.5+ with wireless off and just taking notes. But if your watching hulu or youtube, it will be at least an hour less.
