Downloading as we speak, hopefully I don't lose 20% in an hour from my phone just sitting there doing nothing!

I know it hasn't even been a day yet, but ya'll can give your experience here. For me personally, as you can see by my previous thread here https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1548757/ , its been a big issue for me!

20% an hour sounds like you have an issue other than iOS.

right? my phone was just in my locker!! 100% when i went to work, and then when i check it, down to 83%!! so mad cuz something just aint right.

Poor cell phone signal? I had this happen with an old flip phone, if it was on me with decent signal, it would last for days. But if I left it in my locker at work, where it did have poor to non-existent cell signal, it was almost dead after an 8 hr day.

Metal locker is a pretty effective RF shield.

yeah but before 6.1.2, i was able to leave it in there all shift no problem. maybe a couple of percentage drop. just the other day, i grabbed it and it was warm, like really warm. and the screen was off!:confused::confused:

Battery life great so far

Just updated my devices to 6.1.3 currently all with 3 Hours standby.
Battery still at 100% will update if anything happens.

I am beginning to think Apple did this on purpose, everything was fine on 6.1 and since upgrading to 6.1.2 battery life has gone to hell, I think it's a ploy to force users off the jailbreak to fix their battery life on 6.1.3.

Wowa dude ... how about you put a device that depends upon a radio receiver INSIDE a completely enclosed metal shell ... also called a Farraday cage. The phone, doing it's duty, keeps seeking a signal, using it's transmitter to ping any nearby towers ... which drains your battery because transmit takes more power than receive. Don't put it in a metal locker and then see how long your battery lasts.

FYI bro, and to everyone else, it's a Wooden locker! In an office. Thanks

When you restore your phone, if you restore to a backup, go into Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings

I was having the same issues you were having and doing just a simple restore and then restoring to a backup would just cause the issues to come back. Once I reset all settings, it fixed the problem. I'm currently at 5 hours of usage and 12 hours of standby and still have 45% battery life and I have Dropbox with location services on all day so it can do constant camera uploads in the background. If I shut that off I'd probably get much, much better battery life but right now I'm easily making it through a whole day (5am to 10pm) with at least 10-20% to spare. My usage is usually heavy twitter usage with some browsing, lots of texts, no calls, location services and wifi on at all times, 1 push email account, and I'm jailbroken.

Updated ipad3 last night OTA, I swear the batt % increased by 1 afterwards, anyway so far so good, it's dropped 11% in 12 hours, with some usage, i.e. nothing out of the ordinary.

Almost got thru an entire movie on the Netflix app, on LTE at full brightness and clarity but no sound and the battery died. I'd say its much improved.

This update has been live less than 24 hours and we are wanting to gauge battery life figures? Really? I never have battery life issues. I don't get why people have all these issues, update after update. I must be special! :)

Excellent for me actually. 7 hours and 30 minutes standby and 1 hour of usage so far, and I still have 97% battery left.

I have Location Services, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular data yada yada yada all turned off since I don't use them all the time.
