iPhone 14 Pro Battery life on iphone 14 pro with AOD vs iphone 13 pro on ios 16?

I keep reading people saying that the battery life on the iphone 14 pro is bad and apparently the AOD does drin the battery but is it really that or is it just ios 16? Has any of you been able to compare the 14 pro’s battery life with AOD turned off and with the keyboard’s vibration turned on vs the iphone 13 pro running ios 16, with the keyboard’s vibration turned on as well.

I went for the 13 Pro to the 14 Pro, immediately turned off AOD. Batter life is similar to the 13 Pro as far as I can tell and I am getting a bit longer out of it.

I also turn off location settings unless something I am using specifically needs it.

I went from the 13 Pro Max to the 14 Pro Max. Always On is turned on. Battery life has been excellent!
