Hello,
A few months ago I finally upgraded to Lion and the battery life on my MacBook has (like for many others) been drastically reduced.
An example - I switched the machine on just over ten minutes ago and it has already dropped from 100% to just 88%. I have only been using Safari to google the problem and have had the Activity Monitor running.
I haven't been able to give the problem much attention because of other matters though I have spent whatever time I could searching for answers on Google and the Apple Support Discussion pages.
However, although there are a lot of people with the problem there doesn't seem to be much in the way of solutions.
And as far as I can tell, the first acknowledgement from Apple of a battery life issue is just with Mountain Lion.
I can't contact Apple directly as my AppleCare has expired.
Can anybody here help?
The MacBook is a Late 2008 13 Inch Aluminium.
Cheers.
