Battery Life Problems in iOS4

Hi Everyone,

After creating a custom IPSW with the latest version of the PwnageTool and successfully jailbreaking and unlocking my early model 3GS with ultrasn0w, the duration of my battery life is about 25% of what it was when I had 3.1.2 (also jailbroken).

I have tried disabling all push notifications (and set them to manual), adjusting the brightness, turning off WiFi and bluetooth...etc, but nothing seems to help.

Any ideas?
