Battery life question

Hi guys. I got a new iPad a couple of days ago and I'm happy with it. However, considering it is my first iPad, I wanted to check with older users if the battery life I'm getting is good.

I've just put it to charge and used it from 100% until it switched itself off. Settings stated 6h45m of usage and 1d3h (I guess) of standby time.
Is this good?

Yeah that's pretty good - What sort of stuff were you doing on it?

Battery life largely depends on the wireless radios (WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, LTE), the display
brightness level, and what apps you were running. I can get as much as 10hrs with casual browsing/reading and/or watching/streaming HD video with brightness of ~50%. Firing up a full 3D game can eat the battery in less than 6hrs.

Basically email, YouTube and browsing. Not a lot of gaming. Today I've spent a couple of hours playing mass effect and the battery flew!
