I get significantly better battery life with wifi turned off---I'd say about 20% better.

Do others have the same experience?

I generally have wifi off, where i work i cant access anything wifi, and when i get home i turn it on when i need to beef up the connection speed a little for youtube or satellite view in maps, for email i wouldn't turn it on. And going between work and home i use a motorbike so cant really use it, and i don't condone using it for music whilst riding!!! sometimes i do wish i used a bus to get to work.

I can probably get 3 full days between charges but im usually syncing every night,

3/4 calls a day
5 texts a day
5 bits of browsing whilst smokin a ciggy outside in work breaks
2/3 hrs listening to music a day at work

I have never turned wifi off...I average over 48 hours stand-by and probably would get more if it werent for the fact that I recharge every other night.

I always leave Wi-Fi on and I can easily go 2 days without recharging which is excellent in my opinion, or at least it's way better than what my old Motorola Q used to get.

i charge my iphone everynight, i also leave my wifi on all the time.

is it bad to charge my phone everynight?

From what I have read no it is not bad. It is however bad to let you phone drain all the way. Your phone has a set number of charge cycles but those are full cycles, so if you are charging every night when you have 50% left, every 2 will count as 1 cycle.

Please correct me if I am wrong

I charge just about every night too. If I don't, I may run out of power during the second day. I've only run out of power once- early afternoon on day 2-(below), but I've been close a few times. Can anyone confirm LastZion's comment about charging?

I started to keep track of my usage stats last week. So far, these are the longest times:
Usage: 7 hrs, 56 min
Standby: 1 day, 4 hrs
Battery charge remaining: completely dead

Would that be along the lines as 'normal' or 'acceptable' for usage and standby? Any insight would be helpful.

I also believe this to be correct :D My iPhone charges everynight whether it needs to be or not, just it case it runs out on the second day :D

I also do this. I use it pretty heavily, though. I have had it die a few times the second day if I didn't have a change to charge it over night.

Yeah, almost 8 hours of actuall use is actually not just ok, it's pretty good if you ask me.

Personally I've never had so long use-time, I only use it a little bit every day. Maybe 30 minutes or so. I would have to recharge it every 5-6 days but normally do it a little bit more often just to make sure I don't completely run out :)
