battery life

So my iphone is two days old. I was wondering if my battery was normal compared to the rest of you guys. Its fully charged around 12am. I talk on the phone for like 40mins and its around 99%. I turn off 3G n wifi and all the notifications. I go to bed and wake at like 10 up around 97%. I text most of the day. Browse facebook every so often and listen to like an hour of pandora. My phone is at 10% by like 7pm. I didnt play a single game. Is it the texting thats draining my battery?
