I have experienced battery problem even with iPhone 4 too...

the battery life is better after I have turned off the following functions when they are not in use

1. Location service
2. wifi
3. email - Push Manually (major difference)

hope it helps!!

There's been a problem with battery life? I did not know that.

I really dont get it.

If it lasts a day then you are doing very well.

It's a 3G dual core phone with loads of functions.

Long gone are the days of 5 day battery life on basic nokias and Sony erricssons

Before I realized these settings make a significant power consumption impact, my battery cannot last for 6 hrs... now it can last for around 9-10 hrs...

I know someone may have discussed this earlier.. but just want to share what I have experienced.

It really depends on your usage I use my phone for browsing the web and playing withs apps, fantasy football, espn, twitter, etc.. And with all features enabled get routinely a days life with my phone

Totally agree but I am just using my phone as usual.. these changes in the settings really have a big impact on the overall battery life...
