how long does the battery in ipad 2 lasts? how much is it to replace it? also, will the battery cycle only go up if you use it unplugged? is it healthy to keep the ipad plugged in every time you use it?

Been discussed numerous times in other threads. The iPad battery roughly last up to 1,000 charge cycles which equals depleting the battery from 100% to 0%.

You'll replace your iPad before your battery fails.
