How can I be at a 100% battery life, with 4hr's 41 min's remaining?
Safari & Appstore are the only things running

15" rMBP 2.3GHz, 16GBRam, 512SSD

Activity Monitor Energy says 100% charge with 4:21 remaining

From what I've found and someone elsewhere may have mentioned this already is to me it seems the more the battery charges the better the life becomes.

Like running it down and charging it up, as of late I'm at 10 hours, Safari w/8 tabs open, Xcode, VMware, mail, activity monitor. So for me it's looking better IMHO.

Have you run activity monitor to see what's going on?

I've found that Safari can be a huge hog depending on what you have open. For example Flash seems to suck a lot of cycles. Also I discovered that the newest Yahoo mail web client appears to really slam the machine as well. When I run on battery, I need to switch yahoo mail to the old client to extend my battery life. Super annoying.
