Is 92% battery after 51 minutes usage and 1 hour 22 minutes on standby good for an iPhone 5?

I suppose it depends what you are doing in the 50 minutes. Her is a screen shot of my usage ( iPhone 5 iOS 7.06

Usage time for the 5 is quoted at 10 hours (depending on task) so that's 1 hour per 10%, standby times don't count really.

If thats the case, you get about 64 minutes per 10% charge lost. So thats a run time of 640 minutes or 10.6 hours. For that, under iOS 7, yeah, that is really good. I get about 8-9 hours.

Does ios7 use more battery than ios6? It's now on 54% after 2 hours 58 minutes usage and 6 hours 8 minutes standby.

It certainly can with things like background app refresh. I would check what you have enabled to minimize impact. When apps get updated they tend to automatically enable it.

I don't have an iPhone. I am an android guy. However,I'm somewhat curious. ln the OPs case, does 51 minutes of usage mean 51 minutes on screen usage or does it also time for background processes such as syncing etc?

What else can be turned off to preserve battery?
