I work with someone who recently picked up the IPhone 3G for $99. This is a Rogers account in Canada. I have the 3G from July 2008. We were discussing our phones and I brought up "battery life" and I told him my phone lasts maybe a whole day. I use it mainly for texting and a little web searching and a few apps. ie USA Today, Weather, Stocks and I listen to music to and from work 30 mins each way.

He said that he didnt charge it for 11 days since he got it. I see him texting and playing with a few apps. Could this be true? 11 days?

Has battery life got that much better?

Nope not possible. You should no longer believe a single thing he says ever again.

Perhaps he off the phone for the first 10 days and started using it on the eleventh. LOL

True that. 11 days without charging is not possible. At least I can't.

i want to claim bs but then again why would someone lie about this? there is no reason to lie about it.
