Even though Apple offers a $99 replacement for worn-out batteries, my iPad is a precious baby and I'd prefer not to give it up in the foreseeable future, even for an exact replica. :p

So naturally I want to maximize the lifespan of my iPad's battery. Are there any measures I can take to ensure a longer battery life? For instance, does the battery wear out more easily if I charge it often, and should I let it drain completely from time to time?
