Battery load cycles

Hello. I have a Whitebook, about 3.5 years old. While the batteries are advertised at newer Macbooks/Pro's to be able to get 1000 charges while still holding 80% battery capacity, mine is older and still gets around 90% at more than 1000 charges. (Screenshot of coconutBattery included.)
It might not be 100% accurate, hence the drop to 87% yesterday, but it still keeps the capacity well, might be even better than newer batteries, it seems.

Probably I'm misinformed. Please tell me what's wrong with my reasoning.

If you haven't calibrated your battery, the readings could be quite inaccurate. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:
