Hi everyone,

I have had my MBP for 3 months and Coconut Battery tells me that i have done 11 battery load cycles. What exactly does that mean? I thought it meant when you have fully charged and then discharged your battery 100%-0%? but I have never done that.

I usually charge it until about 80-90% and then let it go down to 40% before charging it again, is that good? I'm bloody clueless about how to keep my battery strong.

So, what exactly IS a load cycle?

and is 11 load cycles in 3 months good or bad?

It's a laptop, it's battery is meant to be used. 11 load cycles is neither good nor bad.

Just use your computer as you wish to use it. Calibrate it once in a while and when the battery finally gives, buy another one.
