Battery menu bar icon not showing?

Hey, I just created a new battery icon(s) for the menu bar, I think this is the reason for it not showing..

I replaced all the files with the new images, but I'm suspecting it's because they're not PDF files but PNG (the originals were PDF)

Here are some shots of it atm, you will be able to notice where the battery icon is meant to be..

I still have the original files, but I really want these to work.

Here's how things look in finder.

Yes, if the original files were PDFs, the replacements will have to be as well. You will also likely need to restart for your changes to take effect.
