I just got my 8gb 2nd gen ipod touch. It was working fine, then it died, I went to go charge it and the battery bar in the upper right hand corner would flash between the Done charging symbol to the charging symbol.
I'm doing a restore on it right now(erase and restore thing) to see if that fixes it but I dunno if it will.
