Battery Monitoring Software?

I use an Apple Magic Mouse with my MacBook Pro, but I have some questions about monitoring the mouse's battery level. iStat Pro says it's 44% full, but the System Preferences Mouse pane states 64% full. Which is correct? Up till now, the System Preferences pane stuck at 100% for months. The mouse itself works perfectly fine.

I don't think there is a way that anyone here would be able to tell you that your mouse has 64% health instead of 46% or vice-versa.

Not sure if either of your sources reporting the information is more credible than the other, to answer as best that I can.
