Charger is in and not charging. No light and at top its not charging.

No.... Its like... Not charging. And it only charges if i fit it right...

and thats 10.6

im on 10.5.8

The steps are the same for both versions. That's why it's important to give vital information when asking for help, such as computer model, OS version, steps you've tried to resolve the problem, etc.

If it works sometimes the connector or port might be defective, I'd call Apple and get it fixed. Try the SMC reset though, it might do it

SMC did not help. Ill call apple later.
