Hey guys,
I havent found much info on Google regarding this topic, so I would like to ask If anyone here knows if there is a way my mac book pro can make a sound when the battery is reaching its end so that I can plug it in.
I am not always glued to my screen, and many times miss the popup. My Lenovo laptop beeps from 20 percent battery and up until 6 percent it keeps reminding me to charge it, where as with the mac, it just turns off on its own when empty, with no alarm. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

You should really plug in your machine or sleep it if you're going to be away from it for an extended period.

But perhaps iStat Menus can do what you want.

Fruit Juice has notifications at various battery levels. But I agree with the previous poster, if you're not using the laptop just put it to sleep - they wake up fast enough! :)

Out of curiosity, why are you leaving it open, unplugged and unattended? Plug it in or use the sleep feature and save yourself the hassle?
