battery on new macbook

i just bought a new macbook pro today and wanted to know if i should be plugging it in to run or let the battery do the work and let it drain

You shouldn't need to do the charging and depleting like older cordless phones, but it's definitely a good idea to give it a nice full charge anyway. Get that crisp looking "1" beside the # of charge cycles.
