Battery Percentage?

How are folk getting it under the usage menu, I have 3.0 Beta 3 but obviously they have "hacked" it in, but how?
 
From what I have read, it happens to people who previously jailbroke their phones and used a hack to show percentage then installed 3.0. It somehow carries over.

Correct me if I'm wrong....

There is actually a setting for it somewhere in 3.0. Someone posted a screenshot a few weeks ago.

Actually, they have just modified some of the code in the firmware to have this setting appear. Just as MacRumors found the video recording screen through a similar process it can be done, it just has to be dug for in the code. Don't be mistaken, BGR doesn't have a unreleased version of the beta, neither do they have a jailbroken phone.
