Hey guys, i remember in Leopard you were able to select different profiles in the battery menu on the menubar. There was an option for high performace and power saver, etc. In snow leopard this is not an option, is there anyway I can bring those settings back? Or is snow leopard automatically adjusting processor power?

There's a few options on the energy savings preference panel, but I can't remember the details right now (not at home). I know there's no option for "power/economy" or anything like that though.

Do you know of any app or anything that will allow me to change those settings like they were in leopard?

Another question why is my processor speed 2.4GHZ but the bus speed 1.7GHZ?

haha no computer knowledge i am guessing?

Processor speed is just that. The speed of your processor.
The Bus speed Is how fast the processor communicates with the north bridge, which is then what communicates the ram, hard drive, graphics card.

Did anyone find out why that the Processor performance option has been removed from Snow Leopard?
