I have new iPhone 4 since January 25th.
Everything was great with the battery at the beginning, but when I did jailbrake, my battery drains to fast.

For example:
Today, 8:30AM it was at 100%...and later on 9:15AM battery was on 93%...and iPhone was all the time on the desk...I haven't use it at all.
After that....I made a call (20min)...and just only this call today and nothing else, and battery is now (13:00PM) at 64%.

3G is off, wireless is off, notifications are only on on facebook, textme, viber and what's app. Location services is only on on camera, maps and runkeeper.

In the usage time is says:
USAGE: 5 Hours, 58 Minutes
STANDBY: 5 Hours, 58 Minutes
This is a little bit weird because I haven't used iPhone longer than 20 minutes today????

I don't have a lot other apps, just few jailbreak apps, and thats it. I have call, sms and data counter apps, and I don't know does this apps mean something for battery drain?

I don't know what to do with this problem, should I ask for new device or what??

Please help me if you know where is the problem....

the thing is the jailbreak itself is not the culprit but being jailbroken you know can install tweaks the do drain the battery faster, might be a weather widget or something else, like the previous post ask list your installed tweaks and someone might know of one to be a battery pig

we can all better diagnose the problem if you individually list the installed tweaks. :)

ummm, this may not be the issue. shouldnt he have a rickroll background in order to have this worm?

I never had the rickroll background when I was having the worm.

For me the issue was I always had to reinstall Open SSH to ssh to the phone. After the first connect, I was never able to reconnect again without reinstalling.

This may not be the issue with chipa85, but by removing the worm, my battery was able to least 50% more.

read on another forum that if your having the issue where you have to reinstall OpenSSH everytime your SSH into your phone just delete the following 2 files and it should be fixed
of course you have to still change the root password as well

1. “rm /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.ikey.bbot.plist” and hit return
2. “rm /bin/poc-bbot” and hit return

EDIT - did this and i no longer have to re-install OpenSSH everytime I want to SSH into my phone using winscp, also i think it improved my battery a bit, not sure if thats possible but usually by this time i would be at about 70% and today im at 82%
