I have the iStat pro widget, and it tells you your battery health and so forth. In the past week, my battery health has gone from 86% to 26%. Also, when i charge my computer, it says that it has 100% battery power but when I unplug it, it says they're only 46 minutes left. Sometimes when i charge it then unplug it, I would use it for a while and it would still say 100%, then suddenly my computer dies when it runs out of power. I recently recet the PCU and still the same problem. Any suggestions?

EDIT: This is on a macbook

Have you calibrated the battery recently?

I just read how to do that on apple.com. I haven't done that but usually I charge the battery until it gets to 100%, drain it untill it's 2% or lower and then plug it back in. Would calibrating it fix my problem?

Not necessarily, but it's the first troubleshooting step in order to ensure that your computer is receiving accurate information from your battery.
