When you first buy a new iPhone, do you charge it right away when you get home? Or do you drain till 0% and do a full recharge?

When first getting an iPhone I usually run it until it gets to around 2-5% then do a full charge on it.

Battery calibration is not needed.
However, the sensors that measure the battery level may need calibration, which is achieved by letting the device drain its battery completely, and ten recharge it to 100%.
