Battery question - Unibody MBP

Hi all,

Couple of noob questions.

1) I've been using my MBP plugged in for the past few days, and shutting down rather than putting it to sleep. It's still gone from 99% charge to below 95% and has started recharging. Is this normal? Shouldn't it have just stayed at 99%?

2) The week before I used it on battery to browse for an hour, then plugged it back in for a few hours. Did the same again a couple of days later. It went from 2 cycles to 4 cycles on Coconut Battery. I thought 1 cycle was the equivalent of a full discharge regardless of the number of recharges. Is there something wrong with the battery?

Battery calibrated on the day I received it, and again before 1) above.

Well let say you used your battery 50% and recharge it back to 100% and then use 50% of it later and recharge it back..Which equal 1 cycle. Hope that helps .
