I recently had my battery die on me (left the laptop asleep and didn't charge it for two weeks, turn it on, says "Not charging" and replace now). I was wondering what I should get as a replacement battery. Should I go with the Apple battery or try a different one. With my student discount, the Apple battery comes up to $116. If I try a NuPower battery from OWC, it's $115. Is one any better or worse than the other? Both are listed at 60wh.

You should only buy Apple batteries for Apple notebooks.

He must be correct as I just bought a new one from Amazon $96.00 for my MBP 13" and after fully charged + 30 minutes only lasted 2hours and 47 minutes... my old one (original) with 785 charges lasted 2 hours + .... tried to save a few bucks and lost......
