Replaced the battery on my 2015 MBP and now the trackpad and keyboard don't work. Computer works fine with an external mouse and keyboard.

The power button on the keyboard works, the keyboard lights are on, but no other keys seem to function. The trackpad doesn't work at all.

Reset the NVRAM but nothing changed. Replaced the trackpad cable with a new one from Amazon still has the same issue.

Not sure if this is relevant but the SSD drive was upgraded a few years ago from 256Gb to 1Tb.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions for how to fix?

This issue usually is a sign of a problematic trackpad cable, which I also had 2 years ago.
Did you ever try to plugin any other cable, maybe the one you just bought is not compatible with your device?

Good to hear that's what fixed yours. Yes, that's what I'm hanging my hat on since I'm waiting on a second cable from a different vender. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll post here with an update.
