Hi All,

so planning on grabbing myself a new battery for various reasons like travelling a lot and i bought this off someone else so want to get a new one anyway,

i was just wondering as apple charge £101 (i think thats like $140?) for a new battery and i can pick one up not made by apple off the internet for about £35 if it's worth it?

i know the obvious response is 'if you got the money get the apple one' but its seems a hell of a lot if the copies are any good. has anyone ever got a replacement battery from someone other than apple and can give me some advice?

Thanks :)

I have only heard bad things about the third party ones, so I wouldn't recommend it.
More specifically random no name batteries are the issue. There used to be reputable companies that made replacement batteries for Apple Notebooks. I'm not sure if any of them still do that.
