Battery replacement

Hello!
I'm from Brazil and own a Mack pro 15 mid 2012. The Battery is needing a replacement and over here options are not trustable as I could find. So my friend is from US and is coming to Brazil next month. I was wondering which replacement is a better option: a generic battery (around USD30.00), OWC (USD 90.00) or other brand.

How long do you intend to keep the MacBook Pro? If you aren't planning on keeping it more than a year, I would go with the generic battery. Anything longer, and I would try and purchase a OEM battery or other good quality. I can't comment on OWC batteries as I have never used them.

I have plans to keep it for another 5 years at least. In Brazil is extremely expensive an OEM. That´s why I´m wondering about a different manufacturer. The generics ones in here have bad reviews.
