I'm having a weird problem with a 2008 White Macbook. The battery was charging and discharging without issue until yesterday. Now the system will not charge the battery. I used coconutBattery to see the statistics, and it is reporting a current charge of -1 mAh and a capacity of 4315 mAh. Is there any way to get this battery unstuck and working again?

Thanks!

I tried putting the battery in the freezer to see if that would help. It did not.

The only other thing I can think to try is using a different MagSafe adapter. Any other ideas?

Try resetting the SMC.
