Just an updated thread on this. There is so much complaining but here are my stats right now

54 hours Standby
4 hours 11 minutes Usage

And i JUST got my 10% warning.

That's pretty damn good if you ask me,

that is rather impressive - no where near the 300 hours of standby that Apple claims though

is this right out of the box?

did you run it all the way down then recharge fully?

what did you do with the battery?

ya Ive just been draining the battery fully then charging. It seems to work.

I also have location services off and I am not even in a 3g area so I am using EDGE which is supposedly much worse for the battery.

Just have patience, the battery gets much better,.

I thought 3G was worse on the battery than 2G...

It is. lol. So no 3G obviously the battery will be improved..

I was under the impression that because EDGE is so much slower, that it worked the machine harder or something?> I am pretty sure something along these lines have been discussed, or I am just compleetely wrong.
