Battery says charged but then says time 3 hours?

i charged my macbook pro. it said charge on the task bar up top so i unplugged it and it says 3 hours remaining? isn' it suppose to be 7 hours?

I'm thinking maybe even if it says charged its not fully charged idk.

The time remaining is an ever-changing estimate, based on the current power demands of your system. Read the BATTERY LIFE FROM A CHARGE section of the following link. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:

u were right when i excited iTunes it went back to 6 hours and half! thanks!sorry for dumb questions
